This is my first go at actually posting a fic here, so I do apologise for any technical or grammatical errors, as english isn't my first language.
This work also involves graphic descriptions of violence and war, so please do bear that in mind (None in Chapter 1).
Furthermore, this work is an outlet for my personal feelings and experiences, interpret that however you want, but it primarily focuses on v!Legundo's backstory (which fascinates me) and the psychological impacts of war on a human brain.(Also, Owen in the fic is not v!Owen, it was only for the sake of making a pun, however if you wish to see it that way I do not have anything against it).
This is a work in progress, please do bear with me, I am working hard to finish the following chapters. I also have canon events happening at the moment in my life, so sorry for huge gaps in between the chapter releases.

Summary
George frees Dream from prison, but fails to save him in the way that matters. Filled with grief he makes a tricky deal with God which quickly goes south, and it’s up to a newly revived (and rejuvenated) Dream to retrieve his best friend from a fate worse than death. Fortunately or unfortunately he now has two Gods helping him along.
