Summary
Loki is born as the youngest prince of Jötunheimr, a broken realm of hunger and darkness. His father Laufey lost a 1000-year war against Odin Allfather, and Loki-prince, a born Mage and Ergi, is send as a deliberate insult as a peace-hostage to Asgard.
Odin takes him in and the boy grows into a man.
Thor, who despises the foreign looking Frost Giant is forced to find out more about the ways of the Jötun, and the two young Gods learn about each other cultures and ways. But then there is another war, Asgard vs Jötunheimr, and the budding friendship that the two young Gods built, crumbles. When Laufey looses the second war, Thor has to stake his own claim on the Icen Realm, enslaving the Icen people and forcing the Giants to their knees. Loki is captured as a spoil of war and has to make the hardest decision of his life.
Will he accept the cruel fate the Norns have chosen for him?

Summary
Soleil, who's lived by the rules of his Master for most of his life, largely secluded but passed around like a toy, isn't prepared to suddenly be told his Master is dead one day and those rules don't apply anymore. He moves in with three people that insist they are not his new Masters and who seem to be the antithesis of his former owner. As long as he's able to protect and live with his pup, Ness, he's fine. Even so, he can't help new feelings he doesn't understand that come with this new life of his.
Athena, Ray, and Cyrill have settled into the nuances of their relationship over their years together. They make their relationship work largely through extensive communication and planning ahead. An omega hybrid who's too scared to look them in the eyes and whose vocabulary largely seems to be composed of the word "sorry" doesn't quite hit that mark, neither does his child who's never seen the outside world. Nevertheless they vow to help he and his child get back on their feet. Too bad they can't help the feelings they catch along the way.
