Summary
Neteyam wakes from a coma three months after getting shot. Ao'nung informs him that the Metkayina have agreed to join the Omatikaya in war against the sky people, and that they will be voyaging back to Neteyam's homeland. Neteyam is worried he'll be too weak to return with his family, and Ao'nung agrees to help him regain his strength and train for his own Iknimaya trial to become a warrior of the Metkayina before they leave. Along the way, both of them begin to feel something for each other they never have for anyone else. At first, they struggle to identify what that feeling is. Once they do, they worry if others will accept.

Summary
It’s the exact same plot as the movie. Except Jake gets pegged by Tsu’Tey. That’s it. That’s the whole thing. Okay, I lied, I may or may not have added a little (a lot...) of pain... Because, well, I could.
The smut isn't too relevant to the plot so I'll just put notes at the beginning of smutty chapters if you don't wanna read them. I'll also add the titles of the chapters in the notes here for those of y'all who want to skip straight to the juicy bits.

Summary
Jake lost a piece of himself when he was told he'd never be able to walk again, an unfortunate hazard of the job. But when he was laying there in the hospital, he would dream of the stories his brother told him about Pandora. He'd have these recurring dreams of flying, feeling free. He wanted to feel that freedom again, and the Avatar Program could provide that.
It's why when he arrived on the indigenous moon he wasn't looking to be some counterspy for Colonel Miles Quaritch, and he certainly wasn't looking for a permanent place among the Na'vi. Jake only wanted to be free. He just never expected his training with the Omaticaya hunter Tsu'tey to alter the course of what he desired.
