Summary
Everything feel apart after the war, pushing Remus Lupin over an edge he didn't know existed. Having spent every day since then hiding in the US, being back on European soil for a teaching job at Hogwarts brings with it memories he didn't quite want to see again. But his heart, and Moony, longs for the man that made him feel like a true teenager, not like a monster.
Meanwhile, Severus Snape is about ready to throttle Dumbledore for this truth bomb- hiring his childhood bully for the job that Albus KNOWS he's wanted for years AND asking him to brew the Wolfsbane needed to keep Lupin from losing his shit and wolfing out beyond control? Fate must be getting a kick out of his suffering. And yet, there's something about that man that drives him back to when things were better.
Two men reuniting after years apart, now older and (maybe) wiser than before. Surely this won't backfire... right?
