It takes a second for Minho to muster the courage to look up, to meet Changbin’s stare, and what he finds there is indecipherable. Changbin’s face is placid, still, composed. The only shift is one eyebrow raising. “Mind letting me in on the joke?”

Jisung likes to think he doesn’t play favourite among the rest of the Stray kids members, even though he knows it’s a lie. He and Minho are closer than anyone else in the band. It’s a known thing, they work well together, always have, always will. They understand each other in a quiet, undeniable way. They call each other soulmates and laugh it off when someone asks if it’s more than platonic. They don’t need to talk about it.
This though, they might need to talk about, Jisung thinks as he watches Minho and Felix’s latest vlog.

“Wait, which love song?” All the laziness is suddenly gone, and Jisung is up on his feet, making his way to the small table where the boys are working. Chan also looks pale and flustered, eyes wide and startled.
“Nothing, Jisung. Mind your own business.” Changbin says quietly, finally looking at him. Jisung would say he looks as usual – a little tensed but still cheeky, even when he is angry, but there is something undecipherable in his eyes, something slick and heavy, that makes Jisung’s skin crawl helplessly.
“No, wait,” Jisung is hovering above, arms crossed. “Is Sorry, I love you written from personal experience?” Jisung mumbles, words suddenly burning his throat and mouth, as if he drunk something acidic. “Wait, are you in love?”Or; Jisung just wants to find out who is sorry I love you written about (so he finds out he is in love in the end)
