“Minho and I were recruited for a romance drama,” Jisung blurts out. “Like, romance between us. Our characters, obviously,” he's quick to add, suddenly feeling like he needs to justify it.
Chan and Changbin exchange a look that Jisung can’t decrypt.
“Are you sure you’re going to be okay?” Chan asks. His voice is unnaturally gentle, like he’s soothing a crying toddler or breaking bad news to a friend.
Jisung isn’t sure. “Of course. Why wouldn’t I be?”
Chan pauses, uncertainty momentarily clouding his features. “Never mind, yeah? It’s nothing.”
His words belie the concern of his tone. He can’t think acting with Minho will change the nature of their relationship, can he? It’s not unheard of — co-stars falling in love — but Jisung is straight. Everybody knows that.
Jisung knows he and Minho are a pair. Coworkers, best friends... Soulmates, if you will. He just didn't think anyone would seek them out because of it.
After being scouted to play the lead couple in a BL drama, Jisung has to navigate his ever-evolving relationship with Minho and come to terms with something he's kept locked away since childhood.

Seo Changbin was 14 when he was taken, 16 when he presented, 17 when the gang leader's right hand man stumbled into his room drunk looking at him in a way that Changbin resented, 20 when he was taken to the main division of THE APEX TRANSIT - District 9. District 9 was where he lived a life if you consider having food three times a day, shelter and acquaintances as having a life. He had a name tag - Subject 01. Dr. Park, someone he considered family told him that it meant he was one of the top omegas in The Apex Transit.
Kwon Ha-neul, head alpha of District 9 was someone that reminded Changbin of his own father. Calm but protective. Strong but humble. Brave but empathetic. He thought he was dreaming when Ha-neul and Dr. Park entered his room 2 weeks before the shipment with four guns and a bag of korean and american money bills with some clothes and essentials waking him up and asking him to get out.
Changbin was 23 when he met the pack that Dr. Pack gave him the details of.
The Bahngs were royalty in the business area. They were successful and ruthless in a way that seemed right because it was them. The Bahng heir had his own pack and a favour he owed to Park Jihoon

Canon-adjacent. I took some liberties by eliminating the 9th, adjusting their dorm timeline, and a few other changes. Also, disclaimer that, while obviously Stray Kids members are real people, my depictions of them are purely fictional. I’m using their real timeline and events as a backdrop for a fictional story and I’m in no way insinuating these things actually happened. (I mean, cute if they did, but this story is straight from my imagination.)
