Summary
Tadashi fretted over Ainosuke’s beautiful, expensive clothes and the grass stains Ainosuke collected on them like trophies, but Ainosuke only ever laughed at his dismay.
“My dear Tadashi, what does it matter? They are just clothes,” he scoffed. He’d rejected the idea of spreading a coarse blanket beneath them, too delighted by the feeling of soft earth and shorn grass. Tadashi could barely find it in himself to fight about it—he loved the way the earth cradled his body, and he loved the way Ainosuke smiled softly as the blades of grass tickled his bare skin.
He loved the spill of Ainosuke’s messy blue hair across the earth, like an ocean wave crashing against rough rocks, not that Tadashi had seen the ocean himself.
