Summary
A hand closes around his upper arm, yanking, Jason screams. A moment later he feels something crack under his fist, squirming and kicking. This isn't supposed to be happening, it's not supposed to be real.
"Help B!" he's yelling and someone yanks one of his crutches from his bad hand, fingers wretched until something pops and he feels his stomach lurch at the pain. It's happening again, the dust coating his skin, the blood. The clown must have found him, of course he'd never be safe, he was so stupid to believe any of it.
OR
Jason has a flashback while alone in public and gets attacked by a cop, Bruce brings him home afterwards and the family tries to help him deal with the fallout.

Bruce Wayne isn't a bad father. He's trying. God, he tries.
He wakes up early to make sure the kitchen is stocked with what Alfred calls "whatever chaos food the children have decided they need this week". He skims case reports while figuring out how to bake eggless muffins for Damian's new dietary phase. He installs bulletproof windows in everyone's rooms and tracks all their phones, not because he wants to be controlling. He just needs to know they're alive. That's all. That's everything.
