Summary
Wife, mother, aspiring artist, and closeted lesbian - for Xie Lian, the labels keep tacking on. But her newfound happiness with Hua Cheng comes a plethora of problems from the outside world- scandals, break-ins, murder plots, and reminders of a past she longs to forget. As much as Xie Lian would like to preserve their happy little oasis together, their worlds will inevitably merge, forcing Xie Lian to face the skeletons in her closet in order to embrace her new identity.

Lan Wangji, like he had been doing the entire afternoon, immediately looked at him upon being called. His eyebrows raised minimally as he took in Wei Wuxian’s appearance.
“How about this? Am I still nice to look at, Er-Gege? Do I look cute?” Wei Wuxian asked, sugary and nasally, as he twirled the end of one pigtail around his finger and batted his eyelashes.
The other didn’t miss a beat.
“Mn. Very cute,” Lan Wangji confirmed, not seeming flustered at all.
Wei Wuxian was starting to despair.
(Or: Lan Wangji discovers a method to find out if a flirtatious guy is being serious or just playing and decides to test it on Wei Wuxian. The method? Flirting back.)

It's… preposterous, how handsome he is. How much he looks like he belongs there, up on the screen above the city’s most fabulous shopping arcade. More like an idol, a high-paid talent, than an athlete.
