This fic inspired me to add politics to my own book, as opposed to it being merely fantasy, sunshine and rainbows. This book is incredible, the characters are all unique in their of ways, they all grow as you follow their journeys across the political climate. The plot twists are all very interesting and seeing everything playing out was super interesting, I swear I could not get my hands away from this story. The love story between Quill and Ayden progressed, in my opinion, at the perfect pace in a way that actually made sense.
I absolutely adore this story and I'm incredibly happy to have found it :3 -

“Shut up, death eater!”, a voice from the cell next to his yelled. Barty couldn’t help but smile.
“You didn’t tell me they went chronologically,” he said.
“I don’t owe you any information.”
“I’m not interrogating you, calm down,” he huffed.
“Bet you’re desperate to get me to spill Order secrets so you can carry them back to your master, but I won’t be so easily played,” the voice promised.
“You’re so dramatic, Black,” Barty decided.
The second surprise when he arrived at Azkaban was when he found himself in a cell next to Sirius Black. Initially he had planned to ignore him, retain his pride and his loyalty to Regulus, but Regulus was dead, had been for a few years. Secondly; Sirius had heard him scream for his mother by the very first night, so whatever pride he had was lost now. Lastly, Barty was tired.
