Summary
Wemmbu fakes his death to escape his past and finally live in peace under a new identity. But his plans quickly fall apart when he discovers a strange, small dragon hybrid that looks just like him,
and doesn’t belong in this world at all.
Now, too many rumors spread, he keeps bumping into people he knows and his new identity starts to look a lot less convincing…especially with a tiny lookalike following him everywhere.
And for the record, can everyone stop mistaking Durin as his son?!

Wemmbu sat cross-legged on the floor of his base, both maces laid out in front of him. He dipped the cloth into the bucket of water, wringing it out before starting on Crucible's handle. The metal was still warm from yesterday's fighting, and he could feel the familiar weight of her presence even before she manifested.
"You missed a spot," Crucible said, her form shimmering into view on his right shoulder. She pointed at a dried bloodstain near her base. "Right there."
"I can see it," Wemmbu muttered, scrubbing harder. His tail swished behind him in irritation.
"Could've fooled me," Gambit's voice cut in from his left shoulder, arms crossed. "Thought you were just smearing it around for fun."
Wemmbu's horns twitched as he suppressed a groan. "I'm doing my best here."
"Your best is shit," Gambit said cheerfully.

Goated ass headcannon, need more of flamey/other people seeing wemm twaek out wt gambit or crucible or they can just see them all of a sudden probs after the law arc cuz like imagine visiting local war criminal expecting him to be alone when all of a sudden tou see the angel and devil on his shoulder shouting at him to kill you but he has no reaction to it so you just assume tgus is just normal for them and freak out for a bit, also it would be funny if someone pounts them out and wem just is just like “you can see them?” anyway need more of this!1!1!1!1!1!1!
