Amelia has never really been someone people choose first.
Starting sixth form was supposed to be different. A fresh start.
Instead, she’s prepared herself for two more years of sitting quietly at the edge of things.
Then Abigail asks is she can sit with her.
It starts as a friendship.
Just two sixteen-year-old girls figuring things out.But as the months pass, something shifts — and Amelia slowly begins to realise she doesn’t have to want the things she’s always assumed she should.

Summary
Haley had her life all figured out. She'd study photography, find success in the big city, and never return to the drab little valley she'd known all her life. She’d always believed she was meant for more than the people around her, so it never once crossed her mind that she might end up just like them: Stuck in Stardew Valley with crushed dreams, boring routines, and no hope for the future.
After everything she planned for her life came crashing down on her, there's only one thing that can drag her, and her almost-pro-gridball-star friend, out of their misery and back onto the path of happiness: The new farmer in town.
With the weight of falling in love, community pressure, and her desire for success heavy on her shoulders, Haley must overcome her own internal challenges to figure out what she really wants in life, and if her wildest dreams are even worth hanging onto.
Or: The one where Haley learns a few lessons, dating in a small town is a nightmare, and mine safety should really be taught in school.
