“Indeed, it does.” Just then, pain burst across his forearm. Regulus, having seen the aftermath of Evan’s marking, accepted it with a deep breath. Lines burned down his skin to his wrist. He didn’t look. He stayed staring at Voldemort. The pain ended too soon.
Voldemort stepped away, an easy smirk on his lips. “Welcome to the change.”
He turned and disappeared. The scar of apparition glimmered for a moment before fading to nothingness.Or,

Summary
This is a story of Regulus assuming he survived the cave (a Regulus Lives AU but starting way before that point). So starting in his first year and going into the early 1980s. I plan to make this Jegulily in the end, so you'll see Reg crushing on both of them over the years. He doesn't get together with them until after Voldemort is defeated in 1981, so it's, ah, a long way off lol.
Fair warning: it's called corruption for a reason. Regulus isn't forced into the Death Eaters like in some fics, he chooses to join. There's some extraneous circumstances but Regulus will be doing Death Eater things voluntarily. So if you want to read that, here you go. If not, it's not until a lot later anyway.

Andrew nodded his head. And Aaron just barely caught the look in his eye. The look that said Andrew accepted a challenge.
“Fine.” Andrew’s response was quick.
Bee smiled and wrote something down. Aaron wondered what she put.
“I think that’ll be your assignment this week Andrew, and Aaron” he had a feeling he wasn’t going to like what she said next. “You will do the same with Neil. Both of you try and give each other’s partner a chance.”
That’s easier said than done.
