Dokja’s brain seemed to be working at a much slower pace than usual—probably a result of missing his cup of lukewarm coffee that morning—so much so he couldn’t help but stare at his CEO in disbelief. “What?”
Kim Dokja doesn’t have much to look forward to.
He works a white-collar job six days a week, has two eleven-year-olds as his social outlet, eats instant meals that all taste the same, and washes them down with cheap beer which doesn’t make him any happier.
So, really—there isn’t much to look forward to.
But when he’s reassigned to the project management department to oversee his firm’s collaboration with a renowned publishing company, an unexpected flicker of anticipation stirs. For once, work might be worth showing up for.
