Why is she still alive? Did she somehow get resuscitated? There's no possible way. She's the only one on the ship with any medical knowledge, and they had no way to treat her properly or flush the meds.
She was too far gone by that point anyways, and even if they did manage to save her, she would've been in a world of pain just about now. She would've been unable to move.

Pain. That was all Daisuke knew. An absolutely overwhelming pain that came from his abdomen. The jagged edges of the vent had cut him up so deep, it felt like his intensives were about to fall out of his stomach. Swansea and Jimmy’s voices argued in the background, but they sounded faint and muddled. Not quite real.
Why did Daisuke have to go into that vent? Swansea had told him time and time again that it was too dangerous. But Jimmy’s honeyed words of making Swansea proud were too tempting. Even so, it was all for nothing. After he crawled himself out of the vent, one hand holding his guts together and the other pulling himself up, Daisuke realized that. He was too late. He failed. Daisuke had always failed. And the one time it truly mattered, he managed to screw everything up in the worst way possible.
After he died, Daisuke woke up again. He got another chance to save the crew of the Tulpar. Then another. And another. And…another. What was going on?
