When Izuku was eleven years old, All Might had announced he was a guest speaker at an event being held at a local college, and Izuku had begged and begged his mother to take him until she gave into his pleading.
That was the happiest day of Izuku’s life. To be able to meet his idol in person, to hear him speak about what it was like to be the Number One Hero, about the things he felt on and off the job, about his life as a person behind the smile that defined All Might.
It’s something Izuku will never forget.

Midoriya Izuku was born insignificant in a world where those who were extraordinary prospered. The world around him was special, basking in the radiant sunlight of a bright future while he was caught in their shadows, destined to live an empty life without meaning.
That was before he met Tsukauchi Naomasa, and certainly before he met U.A. Hero Course Class 1-A.
