Summary
"Something is wrong. I don't know what it is. Can't quite put my finger on it. But something is telling me that this isn't right. And I need to figure out what it is before it get's me killed or worse."
Robert is suddenly plagued by visions and words he's never seen nor heard before. With no clues or context the only thing he can do is trust his gut and hope for the best. But how is he supposed to do that when it's constantly effecting his choices and decisions.
Can Robert find a way to return as Mecha Man? Will he be able to figure out what's plaguing his subconscious mind in time to save what really matters? Or will everything be as fate intended?

Summary
Mecha Man is dead.
Well, not exactly.
Robert Robertson III survived the explosion of Llewellyn Steel Works against all odds. The same couldn't be said for the others there.
Except one.
Invisibitch is on the run. Having collected the Astral Pulse from the bomb site and inadvertently taken over as public enemy #1 of the Red Ring since Shroud's demise, her priorities had shifted from "be the right hand woman to the man who finally gave her a chance" to "survive, whatever it takes." But running and hiding was only going to get her so far.
Robert Robertson III scavenged together scraps of the demolished Mecha Man suit to repurpose at his late father's lab, located within the Robertson Industries campus. With the Astral Pulse in the wrong hands, there was no telling what damage could be done. He had to get it back. Whatever it took.
They both are fighting for the same thing.
Truth.
But when the truth starts to get complicated for Robert and Courtney, two people who meet by complete chance in the shittiest dive bar in town, will they keep chasing it?
And when the truth comes out...
Something's got to give.

Summary
Last night Courtney dreamed about her philosophy professor going down on her. This morning she has to sit through his lecture on Kierkegaard's concept of despair without making eye contact.
The problem is multifold: One, she's failing his class. Two, he's probably dating a colleague. Three, she's pretty sure her brain is trying to torture her by making the dreams progressively more detailed.
She definitely should not stay after to beg for academic help. But she does anyway, because apparently self-preservation isn't her strong suit.
(University AU, no powers, just poor life choices and some good sexual tension.)
