Summary

Summary
He’s cut off when Thanos surges forward suddenly, one hand coming up to grip his chin and wrench his mouth open as he messily presses their lips together. It’s a kiss, but it doesn’t feel like one, all teeth and tongue and drool, and then a tiny pill is being pushed into his mouth. Thanos pulls away nonchalantly, a thin string of saliva connecting them. He slowly swipes his tongue along his lips to break it, and Namgyu is ashamed to admit that his eyes tracked every movement.
“You’re welcome,” Thanos says in English, pronouncing each word in that thick accent with a smile on his face.
Namgyu blinks slowly at him, swallowing the given pill. His cheeks feel warm, flushed a light red and his skin tingles pleasantly as he breathes out shakily. “..Yeah. Thanks.” he grins back.
or,
Namgyu is desperate for another of Thanos’s pills. They make bad choices, together.

Summary
Nam-gyu is in dire need to lift his reputation up and get away from his deadbeat dad and shitty life at home. So far, even community college doesn't want to take him in, and his job can barely afford to pay him minimum wage. What he needs is an extracurricular course that would make his page look clean, something like summer camp? What he's not expecting is to get hooked up with the weird soundcloud rapper Thanos and his group of friends, though by the end of summer he finds himself feeling more alive than any drug could ever make him feel.

Summary
Nam-gyu wasn't the type to dwell on his own emotions. He was from the kind of people who put others' happiness first, yet never his own. That was something so easy for him to dismiss, barely comforted by the thought that everyone had their highs and lows. After all, so did the sun - trapped in a constant cycle of rising and setting each day.
Ever since he met Thanos, that reality changed for him. He found a whole new meaning in rising, suddenly looking forward to it each day. No longer being scared of the inevitable sunsets in his life. No longer feeling trapped in that cycle.

Nam-gyu used to be better than this. He really, really did. He used to work at the fucking Pentagon, of all places, used to have models fawning all over him. And, yeah, it was for the drugs - of course it was for the drugs, he’s not stupid. But they were still fucking models, with great tits and perfect bodies and he’d take them home after the night finished.
And now he’s having to plead with his fifteen-year-old supervisor for an evening off to drag the body of a shitty, half-unconscious rapper to his apartment. His life has to be a God's idea of a joke, at this point.

Yes, there had been plenty of times in the games he'd felt like he was as good as gone, his blood just waiting to be spilled, a coffin wrapped in a pink bow with his name on it, but this was different. He had lost his one chance, and he would never get it back.
They were cowards, Nam-gyu thought to himself as he struggled to untie his restraints, that's what they were.
The games end after Mingle, and Nam-gyu and Thanos find eachother again.

Nam-gyu can’t believe this shit. Like, seriously. He really can’t.
He thinks he might be hallucinating, actually, and that the last few days of his life have been one really long drug-induced trip, some sort of weird fantasy in the back of his mind making its way to the forefront. He’s into some freaky shit — he wouldn’t be all that surprised, truthfully.
But, Nam-gyu isn’t stupid, and no matter how hard he tries to convince himself otherwise, he knows the difference between what’s real and what’s not. He knows that he’s currently sitting shirtless in front of Thanos, his good friend for over a year now, attached at the hip ever since getting out of the death games together, and he also knows that Thanos is holding a camera and taking pictures of him shirtless, like he’s capturing a cover shot for a porno you’d find stuffed in the back of DVD rental shops.
(Thanos needs to come up with a cover for his new album. Nam-gyu makes the perfect model)
