Summary
Eddie Munson had lived through monsters before — real ones, with teeth and claws and a taste for blood. What he hadn’t prepared for was this: the way Steve Harrington kept pulling him into late-night conversations and half-lit car rides, like Eddie was supposed to know what to do with a heart that never stopped bruising.
It was supposed to be nothing. A slip, a laugh, a kiss that didn’t mean anything. Except Steve kept coming back, and Eddie kept letting him. Indiana still spat the same slurs, the newspapers still screamed about a plague in cities far away, and Eddie still knew better than to hope.
But hope had a habit of sneaking in anyway... tucked in the way Steve looked at him when he thought nobody else was watching.
—
Or: Eddie survived bats, Vecna, and Hawkins. What finally killed him was Steve “definitely straight, except when he isn’t” Harrington and his goddamn smile.

Summary
A sex tape is…crazy. It’s totally crazy. It wouldn’t work, and it's worse than any of Steve’s other ideas because…well, because Steve is straight. And hopeful. And stupid.
It wouldn’t work.
“No way,” Eddie says. “I’m not gonna make a fucking sex tape.”
Steve leans down, gets in his face. Eddie’s breath hitches.
“Why not?” Steve asks. “You scared?”
In the months following Vecna's death, Eddie is facing triple murder charges and a lifetime in jail. With Dr. Owens gone off the grid and a town that hates him, that plea deal his lawyer offers him is looking pretty sweet.
Enter Steve Harrington, who is having none of that.

Summary
“Split between us, that’s maybe seven times each. I think we can manage,” Steve hums, somehow finding it in him to joke about jerking off for sport, nudging Eddie with his elbow while he’s busy trying not to ogle his roommate.
“Light work for you. Probably getting off easy.”
Eddie lets out a flaccid har-har as he grabs his face wash off the shelf. Starts scrubbing vigorously; anything to keep his eyes from wandering. He gets some in his eye.
Good. Maybe that’ll be enough to temporarily blind him.
Unfortunately, it just burns. And Steve’s still shirtless.
“Alright, what other ‘parameters’ did you have in mind?”

Summary
November 1983. Between unpaid bills, the supposedly straight jock he’s seeing, and letters from his convict dad, seventeen year old Eddie Munson’s got enough to worry about. But when Will Byers goes missing, it sparks a chain of events that will show there are more depths to Hawkins — and to certain people in it, like infamous Steve ‘The Hair’ Harrington — than he realizes.
/ or, the excessively long slow-burn in which Eddie is involved in the Upside Down from the very beginning.

Summary
“You’ll have to forgive me if I don’t believe you, Harrington. Straight boys don’t get off thinking about dick. That’s an indisputable fact of the universe, and a key point in my own personal doctrine.”
And maybe Steve should laugh, shrug, call it a night. He should do that, re-examine all of this when he’s sober.
He doesn’t. Instead, he says, “Try me.”
Eddie lifts himself up on an elbow, turning to his side so that he’s looming over Steve when he says, “Just to confirm…”
Steve nods encouragingly, bolstered by the absence of a dismissive laugh, an awkward change of topic.
“You’re saying that you want me,” Eddie continues, eyes darting between Steve’s, “to talk about fucking a dude. To see if you get hard.”
—
Or; Steve’s pretty sure he could get hard while thinking about gay sex, even though he’s straight. Eddie’s just along for the ride.

Summary
As they sat once more, Edwin realised, with dismay, that Rowland had filled in the usually empty seat next to him. His general aura of dandyism, reclusiveness, and slight insanity had rendered him an unsuitable seatmate by most of the class.
Rowland stuck out a hand. “Charles Rowland.”
I know. “Payne,” he said, and returned the handshake.
“And I don’t suppose public school boys have a first name?”

Summary
"In life, and in death in Charles' case, he's found that there is a certain rose tinted glasses aspect to hindsight. The places are always bigger, the food better, and you tend to forget the little frustrations that occurred along the way. The rough edges of existence are sanded away until what you have is an idealized version of how things used to be... He was starting to think they weren't actually worth the 35 years of pining now as he violently vomited into the barely functional toilet of their office. The warm hand on his back was nice, but the acid currently coating his esophagus mostly negated the pleasantness. Charles hated to admit it, hot blood flowing through his veins for the first time in three decades, but Edwin might have had a point."
While trying to get Niko back, the spell backfires and now the boys have bodies again...and it's awful. Turns out being sixteen forever is way worse when the sweat, bodily functions, hormones, and uncomfortably timed boners are part of the deal.

Summary
Charles sinks down a little lower in his chair and lets his knees fall open.
“What are you doing?” Edwin says, but he isn’t asking. Not really.
“I miss it,” Charles says. “Bet you do too, eh?”
“Charles.” Edwin sounds uncertain. “Are you…?”
There’s a moment of breath-held silence, wound tight as anything, and then Charles says, quietly, “Tell me—tell me to stop.”
