Summary
When Shiro is brought back to life and deposited into his clone's body, he becomes the one thing he always swore he would never be: Useless. Without a Lion to call his own, he's no longer really a part of Voltron, and now Shiro has to find a new place for himself in the universe. To make matters worse, the journey back to Earth is complicated and full of dangers, and while Shiro juggles feeling lost and alone with trying to stop his relationship with Keith from falling apart, the enigmatic White Lion reveals it isn't done with the former Black Paladin just yet.

Summary
Shiro isn't sure why he chose to intervene and save Keith Kogane's life. As a Ventrue, Shiro has no love for the Gangrel, so it's not like he gives a damn whether one of them gets staked and beheaded before they even get a chance to enjoy the particular curse called vampirism. But the look in the kid's eyes awakens something in Shiro he thought was extinguished centuries ago, and he brings a stop to Keith's execution before he even realizes he's doing it. He should leave it at that – let Keith find his own way, but Shiro's already made one reckless decision, so what's one more? He heads to The Last Round, Anarch territory, enemy territory, with a desperate hope that Keith will decide to help him uncover the frightening mysteries of the newly discovered Ankaran Sarcophagus. Shiro doesn't really need the kid's help, though. But he sure as hell wants it.

When Damian is sent to Gotham to kill the Bat, undoubtedly his greatest challenge, he’ll have to decide if being king atop a lonely hill is really what he wants. As for Jason, he’ll come to the conclusion that burning bridges and turning his back on a life taken from him isn’t nearly as easy as it sounds.
