Summary
For most of Yuu's life, he'd been a trained assassin, honing the art of the knife down to a science. Years and years of successful missions and rigorous training had certain rules engraved into his mind by Saito, his mentor and the man who had made him who he was. Saito had made two things very clear: failure is not an option, and perhaps most importantly, assassins don't fall in love.
When Yuu reached adulthood, his new assignment was not someone he must kill, but instead protect with his life: Mikaela Shindou, the young, brand new Emperor of their kingdom, Xuányuèguó. While Mika faces the stirrings of war from his own uncle Ferid, the Emperor of Dōnglíngguó, Yuu fights against what feels like endless enemies secretly sent to take Mika's life.
It's not as easy for Yuu to keep his true identity hidden while Mika tries his hardest to become Yuu's companion, and the assassin's rule of not falling in love becomes harder and harder to abide by.DISCONTINUED.

Summary

Summary

However, all of their plans come crashing down around them when Levi is in an accident which causes a life-altering injury. Unable to accept the limitations and humiliation of his new life, Levi retreats into himself, pushing Eren away in the process. However, Eren is not ready to give up on Levi, and finds a way of showing him that love can be expressed in all kinds of ways, and that Levi's situation does not mean a life lost, only a life changed.
