He’s just about to light up when hears his own name:
“Ilya Rozanov?”
Ilya turns. The man approaching him is smiling as he approaches.
He’s a little awkward, Ilya thinks, then the man holds out his hand.
“Shane Hollander, I thought I should introduce myself.”
Total fucking dork.
Ilya shakes Hollander’s outstretched hand and resumes lighting his cigarette.
“Oh, um, I don’t think you’re supposed to smoke here,” Hollander says. He’s looking over Ilya’s shoulder, at the no smoking sign two feet away.
Ilya exhales. “Don’t worry. I brush my teeth before shoot.”
Hollander blushes, a baffling response considering that he’s probably going to have Ilya’s dick in his mouth within the hour. “I wasn’t, um. Thinking about that.”
He has freckles, Ilya notices. Shane Hollander has freckles. He has freckles and a pretty mouth and a bit of a baby face. God, they’re going to do numbers.
Shane and Ilya collide on the set of a porn shoot early in their careers. Things escalate from there.

Summary
Ilya Rozanov, break out star of the hit show Skating Limits, has a problem. His stalker is escalating to violence and ruining the press tour for the new season. Naturally, his agent and childhood friend, Svetlana, has a solution to the problem: Shane Hollander, former Secret Service agent and private bodyguard.
Shane, however, has his reservations about the job. He doesn't work with celebrities. Celebrities are security risks and they don't listen. So Ilya will have to play ball, or Shane will break their contract, leaving him exposed to the man hunting him.
Despite the risks, they don't seem to be able to stay away from one another anyway. While Ilya contends with his growing feelings, Shane is more than ready to do whatever it takes to protect his principal.

“So,” David said finally, slapping both hands on the table lightly. “Roz— Ilya. Do you cook?”
Ilya’s eyes snapped back to him. “Do I cook?” he repeated, like those words didn’t make any sense to him.
“Those two are going to be a while, and it’ll be getting on dinnertime soon,” David said. “I know time gets a little wobbly in cottage country, but everyone is probably starting to get hungry.”
While Shane and his mother have a moment, David and Ilya find a connection of their own over carbs, college, and silly straws.

Summary
On the couch, Hayden is sprawled as if he’s the one paying the mortgage, socked feet on the coffee table, controller in his hands. His grin is sharp and triumphant, lit by the TV glow. Beside him, Ilya sits upright, knees angled toward the screen, controller held with serious intent. He looks personally offended by whatever is happening on the screen.
The final buzzer sounds. The screen flashes something celebratory, and Hayden pumps his fist.
Ilya’s shoulders slump, betrayed by the concept of virtual hockey. “Fine,” he says, pouting like a child who has never once lost in his life. “You win. You are only better in this game anyway.”
Hayden’s laugh is immediate and delighted. “Fuck you.”
OR: The four times Shane caught Ilya and Hayden doing friend things, despite them denying they're friends at all.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Shane says truthfully. “Who was staring at me? Rozanov?”
“Ignore him,” Hayden cuts in. “He thinks you two hooked up at their party.”
Shane chokes on his water. “I’m sorry, what?”
Troy studies his face, “You did! I fucking knew it, I’m about to cash in. Kappa Tau has this huge pot going, on whether Rozy has the balls to hook up with another frat brother. I knew he’d be a sucker for your freckles Hollander, he’s always had a thing for you.”
“Stop!” Shane rushed to say, seeing Troy’s thumbs fly across his phone. He started panicking, “No! No! We did not fucking hook up, what the fuck Barrett?”
Or the one where Shane and Ilya are presidents of their own respective fraternities and Shane has the stupidest idea to fall for his rival (feat. a pining Shane and whipped Ilya.)
