Shidou's grin is wide, "Holy shit! Sae-chan, it's you!" He bounces on the spot, practically vibrating.
The back door of the car swings out, with Sae commanding, "Get in."
"Ooohh, are you kidnapping me~?"
"Now."
Shidou doesn't need to be told a third time. He dives right into the back seat with Sae, and the Taxi restarts behind moving traffic.
(aka: Shidou's reward for his service to U20 comes late. Sae's planning to leave for Spain but first, he'll make sure to keep his end of the deal).

Once it was said, he already felt ridiculed enough because who wouldn't miss playing with The Itoshi Sae, Japan's prodigy, a treasure under the U-20 stars? It was a cruel joke, it was contradictory. It was contradictory because he was Shidou Ryuusei. An egoist not even Blue Lock, home of exactly that, could handle. He didn’t need a stupid midfielder to pass to him... didn’t need another person to liberate him, to prove his worth.
