Something had changed in Frank Castle, after the bullet had rocketed out of the chamber and sliced into Peter's cheek.
"I'm down," Peter said, his voice hoarse. "Okay?"
The Punisher stared, his jaw clenched.
"I'm - I'm not moving."
Peter had a sense that he was prey, and this was a rattled hunter. He wasn't going to move an inch.
"Okay," Castle said, swallowing lowly. Raw. "Yeah, kid. Okay."

Summary
Frank Castle tries his best to avoid other vigilantes, but apparently just staying out of Manhattan isn't good enough anymore. When he has a run-in with a child calling himself "Spider-Man" right in the middle of a gang's headquarters, he affirms to himself that it's none of his goddamn business.
Then the kid's aunt doesn't make it out.
Fucking brilliant.
