Summary
Will starts a habit of sleeping in Mike's room.
Without a word, Mike reaches out and lightly grabs Will's jaw. He tilts his head up, down, side to side, studying every angle. There's no way he can't feel Will's pulse beating fast and hard against his hand, but either way, he doesn't comment on it.
"Hmm", sneaks out of Mike's mouth.
"Hmm?", Will can only parrot back.
Now he studies Will's eyes, trying to commit their shape and hue to memory - trying to erase memories of Will's possessed dark, clouded eyes. His Will, but not.
Will softens in his grasp and opens himself to Mike's gaze, no longer trying to steel himself from the moment, hide himself away. Just present, just here.
And something in Mike softens, too.
"There you are," Mike whispers.
This is hungry work.

Summary
College roommates Mike and Will started kissing a few weeks ago, but they haven't talked about their feelings yet. Mike descends into a spiral about whether it's better to go slow and keep it casual or to open up about how he maybe sorta might be falling in love.
Title inspired by a lyric in "I'm in Love With You" by the 1975, no muppets were fucked in the making of this fic :)
