Summary
Seungho is the eldest son of the king, an alpha known for being a ruthless prince and a Yoon, the royal family afflicted by a curse for long generations that causes all those who occupy the throne to end a painful death. Generations ago, the family staged a massive hunt, burning the witches on their land in the belief that by killing all the witches, the curse would disappear. The stories continued for many years, stories that Seungho only saw as complete nonsense. However, when the prince goes on a mission and is betrayed by his own brother, Seungho wakes up in a cabin in the forest.
He remembers his younger brother stabbing him with a dagger and pushing him off a cliff.
And he also remembers a sweet voice, waking up and meeting Nakyum, a boy who lives isolated in the forests, enchanted by Seungho being the first man he met, having lived isolated in the forests all his life. Nakyum is an omega, one of the rare survivors of the witch hunt, who hardly suspects that Seungho is the prince. Someone who was trained to hate and hunt people like him.

Summary
Sinegard Academy demands everything from their students. Rin, a third year collage student suffering from crippling debt, is way in over her head. Between assignments, exams, and a slowly deprecating social life, her biggest problem manifests itself in human form;
Yin Nezha.
Rich, pretty, tall, and infuriatingly captivating. He'd made it his mission to remind her how much she doesn't belong there, how her dark skin and slightly botched dialect sets her miles apart from the rest of the Sinegardians. In turn, Rin had promised herself to never let him rest. If he did something, she'd do it better. If he kept bullying her, she'd take it and then score higher in all of their tests.
So yes, you might be able to say that Rin was slightly burned out.
The last thing she needs is to get herself involved with Nezha in some stupid, fake relationship that mirrors famous TV melodramas.

Fang Runin is a a 21 year old war-orphan who'd never been able to escape the grasp of her foster mother. In this world, Yin Vaisra had decisively conquered the Nikan Empire years before the events of the novels, establishing a monarchy with him at the helm. After Emperor Vaisra prevented women from attending Sinegard, Rin was left with no choice but to look for another way to escape arranged marriage at the age of 14.
Finding her savior in Tutor Feyrik, she'd been able to make a name for herself as a fighter and to keep her foster mother happy (and rich) enough to keep Rin around.
But everything is about to change as Emperor Vaisra announces The Selection for his now heir to the throne, Yin Nezha. It's an opportunity for women to compete for the prince's hand from across the empire, but Rin vehemently opposes the whole idea.
As fate would have it, she gets thrown into that same world she tried to avoid, her days now filled with civil unrest, secrecy, a strange growing power, and growing feelings for a certain infuriating prince.
