Margo's image has barely disappeared from the phone screen before Eliot hears the scrape of the front door opening and the rustling sounds of Quentin taking off his coat and shoes. It's only a minute more before he's coming into the kitchen, standing behind Eliot and slipping his arms around his waist. "Hi, love," he says, stretching up on his tiptoes to kiss Eliot's neck and peer over his shoulder. "Mmm, are those blondies?"
And Eliot blurts out, "Would you want to go back to Fillory?"

But sharing cryptoglobin so directly also shares memories, and sharing too much blurs the memories together. As far as Takumi and Eito are concerned, they've known each other since childhood. Ed swung his leg over Stede’s legs to straddle him before this disaster of a tangent had to go any further. “Like this.” He put his hand to Stede’s throat and held it there. “I wanna sit on top of you like this and,” he tightened his fingers and watched Stede’s eyes darken, “fuck your thighs a bit, and hold your neck like this til I think I can see it change colour.” He demonstrated. “And then I wanna do it tomorrow. I want your skin to go purple.”
Because you had to say something eventually, didn’t you.
