He doesn’t need to look at the head table to know that San is watching him. He feels it the way a rabbit feels the shadow of a hawk, a cold weight that presses between his shoulder blades and makes his lungs contract. It’s exhilarating. He wants to see how far the shadow will stretch before the hawk dives.
To anyone else, San might look bored. His expression is neutral, his posture perfect, his attention seemingly divided evenly among the three men speaking to him.
But Wooyoung knows better. He’s spent the last three months learning the topography of San’s moods, the way a sailor learns the tides. This stillness isn’t boredom. It’s the calm before something breaks, and fuck if Wooyoung doesn’t want to break something tonight.

Wooyoung and San are three months into their arranged marriage. San is cold and distant from Wooyoung, and Wooyoung is sick of it. So, he decides to do what any self respecting brat would do, he makes it San's problem.
