Lucas watched him wordlessly from the corner of his eye. His hand hovered over his tray, half-curled into a fist, knuckles bandaged tightly, like those of a boxer's. Eliott wondered how he'd hurt it. He had half a mind to take Lucas's hand into his own, curl his fingers around Lucas's, never let go. Their hands had fit so nicely on that bright, beautiful morning, clasped together against the cool white sheets of Lucas's bed.

“Oh, him?” Boss points at the boy in the picture. “Nothing. He´s clean as lilium. But his father… his father owes me. You don't need to know the details. All you have to know is your target, which is this man.”
Sure. Right. Yes, that's all Eliott needs to know.
“He will be in the middle of a group of security guards,” another boss says. “He´s well-protected. His father expects a visit from us. And his son is everything to him. That's why he's the target. You have to punch where it hurts the most.”Right.
