The story takes place after season 2 of the series.

The new Supreme Archangel Aziraphale is in Heaven, juggling the Second Coming at The Metatron's behest. Crowley is wrestling with his romantic realizations, and losing. What is it going to take to get our lovestruck beings back on track so that they can save our favorite Libra and all its inhabitants? And where are God and Satan in all of this?
There’s a lot of ground to cover before this ends, as it was always going to, in a garden.

Crowley is hurt and waiting for Aziraphale as the angel tries to find his way in Heaven. The only way they can figure out God's ineffable plan is to work together again. And that means overcoming temptations and tests from Heaven and Hell - and finally breaking down the walls around them both.
Picks up the week after S2E6.

Summary
The distance between “We should have wiped his memory” and “we absolutely did wipe his memory” is miles, and Crowley has made a home between them. And to be fair (not that they deserve it), Heaven was going through a lot at the time. Like, a lot a lot. Catastrophic, if all went according to Lucifer’s plan. Record keeping for memory wipes wasn't exactly the priority.
The angel that missed the processing of his scheduled wipe faced no consequences because their negligence was never discovered. Crowley faced many consequences, most were agonizing, but at least Crowley avoided some consequences. He slid under the radar. He escaped into the night with a Starmaker’s memory.
_________________Crowley has been loitering in the Universal Creation Grid for, well, basically all of time. And he wants something he can't have.
Aziraphale wants to kill the Metatron, among other things. He also wants something he can't have.
Muriel wants a cat. That's relatively attainable, all things considered.

Summary
Aziraphale starts his first day in Heaven planning to stop the Second Coming. Instead, he finds out that it's already started - Jesus Christ's soul was returned to Earth shortly after the first failed apocalypse.
If that wasn't bad enough, there's another problem: Heaven doesn't know where she is. Seems like Hell isn't the only side capable of producing rebellious children.“So, let me get this straight. You are proposing an… Arrangement, of sorts, where we conspire to hide a prophetic child from being discovered by the combined forces of Heaven and Hell, and find a way to prevent them from starting an apocalypse?”
A post-S2 fic where Crowley and Aziraphale reunite again in their quest to save the world. The circumstances aren't ideal, but maybe this time they can finally get their happy ending.

Summary
Heaven is so high up that once you’re there, Aziraphale realizes the only way out is to fall.
In an attempt to stop the apocalypse once more, he steals the Book of Life and The Messiah's soul, placing him back on Earth as Adam’s brother. Now suspended somewhere between falling and fallen, Aziraphale needs help from the only one he can trust to navigate his new life. The same demon he rejected a lifetime ago.
Despite how they parted, Crowley can't turn his back on the aching angel, working through his pain and heartache as they slowly inch towards one another, acting on millennia of bottled-up feelings and desire.
The only problem? Adam’s powers are still alive, and he wants everybody to have their “happy ever after” in his town.
Or else.
