In the suffocating darkness, Buck's mind raced with thoughts of Eddie. He had always admired him, his strength and resilience in the face of adversity. But as the water continued to rise, Buck's thoughts turned to something deeper, something he had kept hidden for far too long.
"Eddie," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the sound of rushing water.
But Eddie shook his head, his grip tightening on Buck's hand. "Don't you dare Buck.” He pleaded, his voice breaking with emotion. "You’re not going to die here, so don’t you dare say goodbye.”

Tommy taps the steering wheel. “So, about that.”
Buck should have known Tommy was going to pull something. Just the way he's driving, mainly sticking with the left side of the highway, as the way to Eddie’s house wasn’t too far from where Buck broke down. He just needed to head to the next exit.
