Neil began singing the words to Run, Run, Rudolph as it filtered through the speaker on the counter. His voice was dry, his notes terribly out of tune, but it made Andrew want to let loose a laugh all the same.

“Chill out, Nicky, I think that’s just not his type.” Allison sneaked a glance at Andrew and smirked. “He’s too tall.”
Andrew didn’t dignify that with a reaction.
Nicky deflated against the back of the couch. “Neil, I swear, you’re terrible at being gay.”
Ah, that was the wrong thing to say. Andrew’s eyes snapped over Neil’s back just in time to catch the sudden tension in his shoulders. “I told you, I’m not gay.”Neil doesn't swing. Andrew wants to understand.
