Summary
“Are you alright?” Korra’s eyes snapped open at the voice and she felt a pull in the back of her stomach at the woman in front of her. She had the shiniest black hair she had ever seen and a plate laden with snacks, so Korra brushed off the feeling as pangs of hunger.

“I got one.” Asami leans forward in her seat slightly. “Promise not to fall in love with me by the end of this.”

Summary
Korra is the Avatar, but she's in over her head and behind on her monster-slaying studies, not helped in the least by her tendency to goof off. She should be the top of her class, but a traumatic past holds her back from reaching her true potential.
Enter: Asami Sato. Cool, suave, and more than a little mysterious. Looks like our little Avatar is about to have her world flipped upside down...
A modern AU set in a world not unlike our own, with a satisfying blend of angst, comedy and romance.
