honestly I'd have to say that this is the best fanfic I've ever read. Ever. In my 13 years of reading fanfiction, I have never read a fanfiction with just the right balance of the Canon voice with the Author's characterizations. This one has the stakes, the pacing, the intrigue. Threads that Bind has stuck with me in a way that will have me thinking about this for years to come. This fic offers the respect that Jason's character arc deserved.

Summary
Harry is about to enter his seventh year, and things are not quite what he expected. He is no longer the angry boy who watched his world fall apart at the end of his fifth year, but neither has he completely found his place yet. He is looking for something, and to his confusion it seems to involve Draco Malfoy.
Set for revelations that will shake his whole world view, Harry must deal with unstable magic, far too many secrets, love, kidnapping, his dead godfather, and of course Voldemort and his lackeys. It's going to be a busy year.

Summary

A boy descends from the heavens, skin kissed by the sun, and hair as gold as the many medals that adorn his chestplate. His purple cloak billows over his shoulders like a Roman emperor, face as stern as any somber military leader, and his eyes are an electrifying blue that makes Nico think of Thalia.
Instead of the fear and alarm shown by many campers, this boy scans the armor-cladded skeletons Nico summoned and the anxious diamond at Hazel’s feet. There’s a scar on this boy’s mouth that’s enhanced by his scowl—and suddenly, the harsh demeanor fades. The electrifying hue of his eyes disappear—matching the color of the morning sky instead. He glances at the skeletons once more, then looks at Hazel and Nico, impressed.
“Whoa,” he says.
Nico hates how his heart skips a beat.
