    Summary

Rudo has always found comfort from the things that seem to cherish him as much as he does with them.

When he’s dropped into the pit, Rudo decides to live among the trash instead. Figuring out how to survive alongside trash beasts is complex and confusing, and over time he learns their ways of life, but that doesn't make this easy.

Luckily for him, the trash beasts seem to accept him as one of their own.

    Summary

“Something really fucking weird is going on.”
    “What?”
“I don’t know. There’s a new mer, and everyone is convinced he needs to be released right now, even though he’s actively bleeding out.”

When an injured merman with a purple tail is taken to the Sea Life Rescue & Rehabilitation Center, they know he's different because he doesn't look like any of the other mer species they've seen, but they don't expect him to hypnotize everyone into carrying him back to the ocean with his singing. The siren doesn't expect one of the humans to not be able to hear him.
