She steps into the building, legs trembling beneath her as if they might give out at any moment. The hallway smells like smoke and dust, and the air feels heavier than usual. Each cautious step brings her closer to the wreckage, shards crunching under her shoes. The wind catches the edge of a dangling poster inside, her favorite band, half torn and waving weakly, almost as if it were mocking her.
“Unbelievable,” she whispers. “Just unbelievable.”
Or Spider-Woman had a tendency of wreaking havoc in Liam's life. And she was determined to give the spider-hero a piece of her mind.

Summary
No-one said the apocalypse was going to be easy, but it was just one inconvenience after another. He finds somewhere safe to sleep? Joke's on him, he has a hundred neighbors and they're all rats. Lucky painkiller find? All the foil in the blister pack is tattered to bits and they're covered in filth. He gets saved by a group? They just wanted his stuff. A dog nuzzles his hand? It's dead the next morning. Beautiful sunrise? Torrential rain. What a load of shite.
Sick and tired of being used by others, Lando lives on his own in a tiny studio apartment he found the key for. One day, during a supply run to the city, he stumbles across another person and his life changes for the better.
The end of the world sucks until it doesn't.
