Just his luck, he had the chance to meet both of the people (one for the second time) who are so important to his Captain, and ended up making a terrible impression. Great. Wonderful.
“But don’t worry,” Luffy grins at him, “I won’t let them!” Zoro sighs and chuckles at this ever familiar confidence.

He kept his eye out for any red-flags that could indicate something was going on. And he curses himself now, because there are... a lot. Something was going on with his student, and he was going to figure it out.
