Summary
High school mortal AU: Will has just lost his brother in a horrible accident and his family has decided to move and start a new life away from all of the painful memories, but things aren’t going well at home and Will is trying to find some way to escape his grief. He goes to school and feels a strange connection to a boy that he bumps into, as if something they have in common is pulling them together. When his new friends tell him about the boy he only feels surer of that connection and plans to see where it will take them. Upon over hearing a couple of students picking on Nico, the boy he can’t stop thinking about, Will does something impulsive and somehow lands himself a date.

Summary
At a special school even at Gotham Academy Armed gunmen seize the building taking everyone in it hostage. They gather everyone together in the gym keeping Bruce Wayne and his ward Dick Grayson separated from the rest and under guard. They send out a message listing their demands saying that if they see Batman or Robin they will start killing the hostages, starting with the VIPs.
Artemis knowing that Batman and Robin wouldn’t be able to risk lives decides to take things into her own hands. She contacts the rest of the team and instructs them on what to do.

In which Dick is twelve, a bit more experienced with this whole gala thing, very much freaking out about being kidnapped and very much trying not to be, Bruce just wants his kid to be okay, and there is drugged orange juice.
