if there’s anything kaz brekker hates more than corrupt bigwigs, it’s corrupt bigwigs who take out their frustrations on himself and his fellow students. so, naturally, he recruits his witty band of crows to assist him in their downfall. the only issue is that they cannot take anything seriously to save their lives, even when discussing transgressions in their group chat. he loves them, though.

(i mostly started this because i wanted to have something small to update in case schoolwork caught up to me and i didn't want to write too much. but i'll try to update as often as i can because writing this is a lot more fun than i expected it to be.)

Summary
Wylan could hardly focus on much other than the glimmering metal guns that fit so perfectly in Jesper’s hands when Jesper had asked him if he knew how to shoot.
“Skeet,” he’d answered.
The lilt in Jesper’s voice as he shoved that rifle into Wylan’s hands made his throat tighten. “Great,” he’d said. “This is just like shooting clay pigeons, except they make a different sound when you hit one.”
Then he whirled around and aimed his glinting revolvers, and Wylan found it even harder to focus on the fact that Jesper had almost shot Kaz when he looked like that.

Wylan doesn't know why, but whenever he sees Jesper shoot, he finds himself embarrassingly aroused.
