Summary
College is weird. Unknown. Scary. So what happens when Wemmbu starts college, where he doesn't know anyone? At least not that he knows of? Starting college at Unstable won't be easy. Especially without his best friend. He's scared and isn't ready.
Though he meets someone he'd like to keep close. He makes friends despite being scared to. Even despite breaking his own promise not to get attached to anyone like he got attached to.. Them.
Faced with unfamiliar territory, Wemmbu makes 2 rules for himself that he absolutely cannot break.
1, Don't get attached to anyone - Easy enough.
And 2, Keep his grades up so that his parents don't call for the most part. -

Even at school Gambit transferred there after a few months after wemmbu 'died'.
Beating flamefrags at everything. Journalism? Better than him.Music? He can do rock, classical, and more genres. School subjects? Highest grade.
And gambit becomes the fan favorite.. and he became the campus crush, teachers favorite also.
Will they find out? Or will they not.

your fic reminds me so much of when i was in the hospital these past 4 months, and we thought i wouldnt make it. its so bittersweet to read something so similar to my experience, so thank you for making this. it truly is a good fic, and i love your writing.
