“Grian?” Mumbo said, breaking the silence that filled the building.
Grian nearly jumped out of his skin, whipping his head up and flinging his pencil which hit Mumbo in the face. He fumbled, knocking some paper off the desk, and fell off his stool with a thump.
“Don’t sneak up on someone like that!” Grian shouted. He pulled himself up from the floor, gripping the side of his desk like a lifeline with a white knuckle grip.
“I wasn’t… I was being quite loud as I entered actually.”
