She’s burning out behind the scenes but still thriving online, running a cute little vlog channel built from years of effort — gorgeous aesthetics, relatable rants, and carefully edited clips. But her steady rise is suddenly overshadowed by an overnight gaming sensation: Akiyama Mizuki.
With chaotic energy, glitchy edits, and flamboyant confidence, Mizuki’s channel blows up with ease, while Ena quietly spirals into jealousy and self-doubt. It doesn’t help that Mizuki — more than once — has openly called vloggers “lazy content creators.” And it definitely doesn’t help when Ena starts making not-so-subtle digs at “hotshots who’ve never worked for their fame.”
An invite to a major creator event forces them into the same space—another country, a shared hotel, and randomized rooms. While their friends find fun in the chaos, Ena and Mizuki find sharp tension, passive-aggressive tweets, and just a few too many viral moments. But somewhere between the sarcasm, clipped tones, and late-night conversations no one else knows about, their dynamic begins to shift.

Their lives are uprooted when they're suddenly saddled with a rogue android, Mizuki Akiyama, who feels a little too real to be comfortable, and needs to be fixed before CRYPTON decommissions her entirely.
Things get complicated when Mizuki seems to develop a fixation on Ena - who despises androids and avoids interacting with them at all costs. Things only get worse when Tsukasa Tenma, one of Rui's own creations, starts to behave oddly after Mizuki's arrival.

Summary
Even among a group of scorned and broken flowers, Mizuki was the odd one out.
Set in an AU with some magic. In this universe, Mizuki never met the rest of Niigo in middle school, faltering against bullying and societal hatred as a result. They didn't gain the courage to be HER again in high school. It's only after graduating, full of regrets with no hope or desire for the future, that Mizuki finally gains the courage to start transitioning and become the person she's meant to be.
Unfortunately, their newfound resolve to pursue their true self again is already falling apart as they struggle to overcome their insecurities and navigate a world ruled by strict gendered norms and heteronormative standards.
