Slowly, and slowly, ruining themselves with hurtful thoughts and feelings, each and every part of the person that was there before slowly dissipating into nothingness, until the person has nothing to keep them alive and grounded anymore, when they become too far gone, far beyond saving.

An could tell that even Kohane was angry, with the way she stopped hesitating to call him out on his bullshit. He always had some kind of retort saved up, but they were half-hearted jabs, not actual well-constructed arguments. So really, he was just making them all more frustrated, rather than doing anything to solve any of the numerous problems he brought up. And when An got frustrated, she tended to get argumentative. Akito did, too. The three of them continued to exchange verbal blows to one another, drifting off the righteous path of logic and into the thorny wilderness of personal attacks.
Which, naturally, led to the bastard saying, “…And you’re no better than a pack of mangy, feral dogs!”
AKA : Vivid Bad Squad encounters a very, very annoying festival worker. It goes slightly worse than anticipated.
