It was being caught, prey-like, as he blinked from the doorway with a vine covered basket to being held by his Asgore, who reinforced his newfound Heart’s staggered beat with a small, pleasant sigh, and the absentminded tightening of his grip around Flowery’s slim waist.
Simply put, it was love.
OR: asgore & flowery cuddle beneath the kotatsu, eat some fruit, and fuck (pervert-style). all in that order, of course.

"Flip it." Asgore gruffly demands, and Flowery laughs, a bit beside himself at his neediness. Nevertheless, he decides to obey, for once. A good, good worker, turning the sign to “closed” and surrendering Flower King to itself.
And surrendering himself to Asgore, who just about lunges from his post to devour the boy right then and there; snout meeting shoulder then neck then cheek; snout meeting lips. Flowery gasps, legs fighting the urge to turn to jello as this beast — this no-good, hungry animal starts working at his apron, and all he can do is take it.
He’s just a human, after all, and it wasn’t like he liked fighting, in the first place.
So the apron comes off.
OR: flowery & asgore’s favorite time for flowerking is “closing.” although, their reasonings for this tend to wildly differ…

And, when met with silence on the other side of the door, he sighed. Flowery could have kicked himself for not realizing this sooner. He'd completely misunderstood the one person he should have been reading like a book. Clearly, he hadn't known Asgore as well as he'd thought.
Even if the worry was enough to leave a crinkle on his perfect nose, he knew now was not the time. Asgore still needs his family, he needs him; whether the king realizes it or not.

Tiptoeing around what it meant to have bloody runes smattered across a college dorm-room’s floors; or candlelight dancing across moonlit fur; a humble flower taking purchase behind curved, sharpened ears.
What it meant that young Asgore Dreemurr, a boy of unwavering faith, chose to summon an incubus to his bedroom quarters, shyly puttering words of sin.
"I want… to know what it’s like." He had said, seeming so small despite his large, hulking frame. Hell, he was even taller than Flowery, albeit by a scant few inches.
"S-sex… Rudy’s always talking about it. Doing it. So… I…"
And, well, faced with such an adorable admission, at the behest of those shining, gentle almonds, how could Flowery say no?
How could any demon?
OR: college student asgore dreemurr craves to deviate from his faith… just a little bit, so he performs the very faithful act of summoning a demon: flowery. who is terribly okay with this, all things considered.
