"Because-" his beast growled in warning but Rudy pressed on. He was tired of this fight, tired of healing his broken heart only for it to beat even stronger for Alejandro. "It's a part of me. I need you to see it because I love you, Ale." It was out now, no turning back. "And as much as I live for the hope that you'd love me back, you can't."
"How could you decide that for me?" Rudy turned and chanced a look at his friend. Alejandro's face was shattered, eyes wide and wet. Pain was writ across every inch of his face.
Rudy sighed into his hands, scrubbing them up and through his hair before dropping them to his sides. This conversation was happening at the worst time and it was going to change their relationship forever. It no longer felt like it would change for the better.

It is not without horror that Ghost discovers he developed an undeniable obession with Soap's hair somewhere along the way. He just cannot stop thinking about it and he yearns to bury his fingers in it, feel how soft it is. It's a shame he can't come up with an excuse to do so though.

It’s almost religious, the way Soap carries out the ritual of maintaining his mohawk at the appropriate length and Ghost genuinely hates it. Just when the strands on top get a little longer, starting to wave softly, something delightful about them falling to the sides when they are still wet from the shower, Soaps goes in and cuts them shorter, as if it is his personal vendetta against Ghost.Now with a beautiful illustration by MizuShiba<3
