Taehyung woke to the soft hum of the air conditioner and a blinding slice of sunlight peeking through sheer curtains. His lashes fluttered, sleep still clinging to him as he slowly opened his eyes. The unfamiliar ceiling above him brought a ripple of confusion to his chest.
This wasn’t his room.
He blinked, dazed, and sat up slightly, only to wince as a dull ache pulsed in his lower back. A quiet whimper escaped his lips, and his wide, doe-like eyes fell to the bed he was in. Silken sheets, slightly crumpled. The scent of expensive cologne and something warm, masculine, and unfamiliar lingered in the air. He turned his head and froze.
There, lying beside him, half-covered by the blanket, was a man. Bare. Broad. Beautiful.
