Summary
After becoming exclusive, Kaeya has acclimated to his life with Venti. Though things are going well, their relationship doesn't erase the larger issues looming over his shoulder. There are still things he keeps to himself, like the nightmares he can't fully remember, or how he really feels. An accidentally damaged ley-line leads to the creation of a chaotic domain, which Kaeya must venture within to destroy for Mondstadt's sake. Only once inside will it become apparent the fear and regret locked away in his mind can't be ignored any longer.
Venti knows better the risk this domain poses, even if his warnings don't deter Kaeya. His principles won't allow him interfere, but his heart won't allow him to come to harm. The carefree god of breeze and hope follows after him into the fray, determined not to lose any more people he loves.
Through the warped illusions within, the unfeeling domain will force them both to confront themselves. But the love of family, friends, and each other guides their paths.

Summary
It's hard enough to grow up surrounded by political drama when all you really want to do is climb trees and take naps with your best friend. It's even harder when your best friend spends every summer in the next county over, and there's an entire sea between the two of you. Harder still when wartime falls upon everyone's shoulders, and words become a precious commodity.
At least there will always be letters to help bridge the gap.

Wherein Dean makes a hefty living as a tattoo artist who owns the space next to Gabriel's cafe. Sam attends the local university. When Gabe's cousin comes to live with him while starting grad school at Sam's university, Dean thinks for sure that all his negative karma's coming to bite him in the ass because Cas clearly has a thing for Sam. No one would ever choose him over Sam. That's just logic.
