This season was particularly rough on all of the Falconers. They got so close to playoffs (even with many of the players being injured) only to lose their chance at the wildcard spot in overtime. He looks up. In front of him stands a little—kid, with dark hair that frames their face with tight little curls. Their hair is haphazardly pulled back with bright green clips and their dinosaur shirt hangs baggy on their thin shoulders. No older than six, they examine him with huge, dark eyes.
