Summary
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a Jedi Master, and a powerful one at that. Having been born into a galaxy teetering on the brink of self-destruction, he's led an unwillingly interesting life, but first and foremost he has always been a Jedi. He has always been a protector, a keeper of the light that remains in the galaxy, no matter what personal cost that might force him to incur.
Commander Cody, once known only as CC-2224, has had an even farther-from-normal existence, beginning with his creation in a Kaminoan lab for the sole purpose of fighting for others, born to die on a distant world for people who don't even consider him wholly a person. He is a soldier, a defender, a weapon and an older brother, his every facet polished to sharp point meant to protect someone else.
What happens when they both end up leading of one of the most elite legions of the GAR, reliant on each other for not only their own survival, but that of their soldiers and the civilians who have been caught up in the conflict? Will each retreat farther back into their attempts at self-sufficient isolation or will they learn to lean on each other for support?
