Summary
Eric Bittle never really envisioned himself ending up at Greendale Community College. (Most people at Greendale never envisioned themselves ending up there, for that matter.) But he’s here now, so he may as well make the best of a bad hand. He’s got a fresh life in Colorado, he’s probably going to pass French this year, and he never has to think about hockey or home again if he doesn’t want to.
What really comes out of left field is the study group.
(Community crossover/AU where life takes the scenic route and everyone meets at Greendale instead of Samwell. As per Greendale tradition, shenanigans ensue. Runs parallel to season 2 of Community, if you pretend that's set in 2015 and not 2010.)

“Jack turns in a slow, aimless circle in the middle of his living room. Blank white walls. Bare floor. A sofa, a TV, a coffee table: just the basics, really. Well, no wonder it doesn’t look like home; he can’t blame his apartment’s sudden coldness and its empty echoing spaces solely on the absence of one Eric R. Bittle. It just… doesn’t look like anyone lives here. It doesn’t feel like anyone lives here. He has no idea how to change that.”
(Or… Jack comes home from Madison to an apartment that doesn’t smell like cinnamon, and teammates who don’t know what he means he says ‘swawesome. It feels like it should be easier, turning the place he lives into a home and the people he plays hockey with into teammates. But even ‘easy’ things have always felt harder than they should.)

Director Jack Zimmerman is trying to move on from his own freshman-year emergency, plan the Corps’ 30-year gala, and look after his coworkers in a risky line of work. Fortunately, his best friend Shitty Knight and new member Eric Bittle are there to make sure he gets through it.

Summary
Eric is trying very hard to maintain a grudge against Jack Zimmermann, the History TA who yelled at him once when he was a freshman, but it's honestly impossible because: A) he desperately needs Jack's help to pass, B) Jack is definitely flirting with him and C) it's hard to stay mad at someone who spends four hours helping you write a term paper.
AU in which Eric plays hockey for SMH and Jack does not and they meet at tutoring hours when Eric is frantically trying to write a paper for a history class.

Summary
When Jack signs up for a Superpower Matching Website, he doesn't actually expect to connect with anyone. Sure, he has the vague hope that he will find a Fire-Starter so he can actual feel warmth again, but he knows those are rare.
Still, when he gets a message from Shitty asking him to join a team of Superheroes, he goes. And when he hears that they have a heat-specialist on the way, he dares to hope again.
